DAY 1: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Your base for the Masai Mara Game Reserve is the Masai Mara Serena Lodge. It's a fine old lodge, with traditional safari decor in the rooms and public areas. While in the lodge, you'll get to relax in the swimming pool, restaurant and bar. And every time you leave on a game drive, you're almost certain to see some incredible wildlife, thanks to the lodge's prime location in the heart of the reserve.

DAY 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy longer in the Masai Mara National Reserve, getting to know its many natural charms. Return to Masai Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha

You're staying along the pretty southern shore of Lake Naivasha at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. It has one of the loveliest lakeside swimming pools in the area, as well as a good restaurant and bar, and large, luxurious rooms in stone bungalows. The shaded grounds are home to waterbuck by day, and (sometimes) hippos at night, so always take care when walking around after dark.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Rhinos are a big part of the experience when you visit Ol Pejeta. Apart from protecting some of Kenya's largest populations of black and white rhino, Ol Pejeta shelters the world's last two northern white rhinos. There's also a sanctuary for rescued chimps, and the free-roaming wildlife includes the Big Five. Commonly sighted mammals include lion, cheetah, hyena, elephant, giraffe, buffalo and zebra. More than 500 different bird species have been seen in the conservancy and the savannah and mountain views are lovely. Fall in love with Ol Pejeta Conservancy when you stay at Fairmount MT. Kenya Resort. Get a game drive to Ol Pejeta game reserve where u will see (rhinos and big cats sometimes come to drink at the waterhole, which you can watch from the bar, even at night). The Resort includes a well-regarded restaurant and a pool.

DAY 5: Shaba National Reserve

Samburu is among Kenya’s most scenic reserves, with a riverine forest along the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. Close to the river is also where you’re most likely to see leopards. Near the river, dry acacia scrub and semi-arid savannah, peppered with termite mounds, take over and extend all the way to the mountains that define the park’s northern boundary. Koitogor Hill marks the middle of the reserve. By staying at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge, you're well-placed to enjoy some of the best experiences possible in Kenya's north. An old-style safari lodge, Sarova Shaba has a good location by the Ewaso Nyiro River in Shaba Game Reserve. Abundant use of local stone, a swimming pool, a bar, and a restaurant are all part of the experience.

DAY 6: Shaba National Reserve

Samburu offers great wildlife viewing and four of the Big Five are present. Rhinos are absent, but herds of elephants cross the reserve. Of the big cats, leopards are commonly seen, with some high-quality sightings possible. Most interesting are the northern Kenya specials, often called the Samburu Five: Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Samburu is one of the few parks where you can see the lesser kudu. Stay longer at Sarova Shaba Lodge as you explore the area.

Day 7: The last day with us
